Therapy

What is Experiential Therapy? Experiential therapy invites us to become aware of our wholeness without shame or judgement Sessions are uniquely tailored to what you are working through. Our practice makes a best effort to stay away from giving advice, prescribing solutions, or orienting towards "fixing". Somedays you may just need to talk, some days you might need to sit under a tree and cry, other days you may need to breathe through your whole body. Experiential therapy is about your EXPERIENCE; how you react to it, show up to it, and respond to it.

How Do I Know If This Is a Good Fit For Me? If you’re tired of overthinking and want a more honest, felt experience of yourself, this work might resonate. You don’t need to have it all figured out—just a willingness to show up and be real.

How Long Before I See Results? There’s no fixed timeline. Some people come for a specific season of support, while others stay longer to deepen the work. We’ll check in regularly to make sure it still feels useful and aligned.

Insurance & Fees

Do You Take Insurance? The short answer is No and Yes. We are primarily a private pay practice which means we are out of network with most insurance companies. We are currently only in network with Aetna and Northwell Direct.

Do You Provide Superbills (Receipts of Service)? Yes. We are happy to priovide a receipt of service for any of our private pay clients. Sometimes insurance companies will reimburse you for some part of your expense for out of network services. We are happy to educate and guide you on this process.

What Is Your Rate? Rates of service change depending on clients needs, location, and type of modality. You can expect a rate between $150-$250/session. This is discussed on our consultation call.

Do You Offer Sliding Scale? Sliding scale is offered on a limited basis. We have a few spots for exceptional cases. This is determined upon consultation, but please note, sliding scale spots are often full.
